In the first three parts (read part 1, 2 and 3), I covered the difficulty of finding an apartment you want and then the hell you go through with deposits, applications, application fees, etc.

After several weeks of hunting, and paying, and rejection, it's finally happened.

I move into my new place in about 2 weeks.

My new home didn't meet 100 percent of what I was looking for, but for the price, 75 percent is fine with me. Besides, they were friendly, didn't jerk me around, or take my money and do nothing.

This process is certainly one I don't want to go through again for a long time.

I guess the lesson learned is patience. If you are patient, it will eventually happen, even if it gets annoying at time.
