Did you know about these 10 great restaurants in Texas that just so happen to be owned by either celebrities or "people of note?"

By now, we're getting used to hearing about celebrities who have decided to make Texas their home--either part-time or permanently. We get it. There's just so much to love about living in Texas.

Some celebrities love Texas so much, or at least its business-friendly climate, that they have decided to open restaurants in the Lone Star State. We don't see any on the list that has set up shop specifically in Longview or Tyler, Texas, but I imagine it won't be terribly long until we do. Most of these are open in the Dallas, Houston, or Austin, Texas areas.

Not all of the owners of these restaurants actually LIVE in Texas--at least not to our knowledge.

I'm curious about your thoughts: Would you be more likely to try out a new restaurant simply because it is owned by a celebrity you admire? As for me, I don't think so. I mean, I guess if one of my very favorite musicians, authors, or actors decided to open up something I'd likely put it on the list. That would be more likely if that favorite celebrity happened to be a chef or at least had culinary tendencies. But personally, what matters the most to me is the quality of the food and the general environment.

I will tell you this, though. After looking through some of these celebrity-owned restaurants in Texas, there are at least 3 that I can't WAIT to try. But that's mostly because the food sounds amazing.
