As someone who loves to travel, it is a must, plus we are so fortunate to have so many airports with international destinations.
We can go just about anywhere we want, obviously, having your passport is a necessity, but if you need to get your passport you need to be careful.

Scammers Targeting Those Needing Passports
For anyone who has gone through the process of getting their passport knows that you will need to have patience.
Sometimes it can take months to get your passport sent to you, just depending on how busy the office is at that time.
You can pay a fee to have your passport expedited.
But now experts are saying that scammers are trying to take advantage of those needing their passport quickly.

How is the Passport Scam Happening?
According to KHOU, scammers will offer new passports in six to eight weeks for around $119.
They will ask you to fill out all the information, which includes your Social Security number, date of birth, and address.
The Scam Hits You Multiple Ways
This scam is leaving victims out the $119 application fee, plus takes all of their personal information for identity theft.
This might be one of the worst scams I have ever heard of, so please be extra careful attempting to get your passport.
