The Fair

I guess I'm turning into an old softie. A lot of these pictures of people having fun at the South Plains Fair bring back so many memories. When I was a kid, we didn't have a "Fair", we just had a neighborhood carnival that popped in ever year and that was pretty cool. With the South Plains Fair, the midway is only part of the fun. It appears the animal areas and of course, there's the food.

The Food

Speaking of the food at the Fair, there's a couple things to bring your attention to, first off the amazing looking corndogs (go see our friends with the Shriners to hook it up). Then there is a picture here of some funnel cake that looks like it was ripped from the pages of Southern Living. I will also testify that if you need something a little more substantial, I've had some amazing hamburgers out there.

The Family

Back to the heartwarming. Page through for some great pictures of smiling folks and kids at the Fair. It truly is an event that brings the people of the South Plains together. There's also some great shots of carnival rides, again including one that looks like it was taken for some kind of photography magazine.

The Animals!

Lastly, I love the pictures with the animals. I'm not sure if there is a way to get animals that are extra goofy, but we have some pics of some of the livestock that is on hand. Again, the South Plains Fair is on through Saturday, feel free to post your pics to our Facebook for everyone to enjoy!
