Two of my most-bought brands have found themselves on the FDA recall list this week.

Luckily, I do not have any severe food allergies, but if someone in your home does, you'll want to know about the undeclared ingredients in these products

My Mochi

My Mochi are frozen treats that feature ice cream or sorbet wrapped in a ball of mochi. Mochi is a traditional Japanese food made by repeatedly pounding steamed rice until it becomes gelatinous. It gives these desserts a delicious "chew."

The recalled variety is Peach Mango Sorbet because it may contain undeclared pasteurized cooked egg white. People with allergies to eggs can experience severe reactions to this ingredient.

So far, there have been two reports of minor relations to this product.

The product is in an orange 6 ct box weighing 7.5 oz, in the freezer section with lots of 337-24 & 341-24 marked on the box.

You can return the item where you bought it for a refund, or call 1-844-696-6244 with any questions.

NuGo Protein Bars

Yet another item that frequently finds its way into my shopping cart. Protein bars are a quick and delicious way to increase your protein intake without having to cook or clean anything.

Lots of NuGo Dark Chocolate Chip and Dark Chocolate Pretzel have been recalled because they may contain undeclared milk. Milk is another allergen that can be severe for some people.

The recalled product lot codes are Best By dates of- Dark Chip: 12/21/2025 through 12/23/2025, and Dark Pretzel of 12/14/2025 through 12/16/2025. Product was distributed through select retailers and online, nationwide.

Again, you can return this product for a refund or contact customer service with questions: 1-888-421-2032 (Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5p.m. EST) or contact@nugonutriton.com.
