Here’s What Texans Can Expect To Pay For A Hot Dog And Beer At Cowboys Games
Surprisingly the cost of a quick bite and a beer at Cowboys games, is kind of reasonable.
Cowboys=Money
Make no mistake, the Dallas Cowboys are billion dollar babies. The price of the team is valued at 10.3 billion. Owner Jerry Jones recently spread some of that cash around making the teams quarterback the highest paid player in NFL history. AT&T Stadium the home of the Cowboys cost 1.15 billion to build. You'd think with these exorbitant payouts that a visit to the park would be extra pricey. According to a new survey, it is a little pricey, but not as high as some other teams.
The Survey
Sportscasting.com did a survey for the price of a hot dog and a beer at all of the NFL stadiums. It's certainly not a deluxe meal or item, but more of a "getcha by" kind of snack/meal. Surprisingly the Cowboys were not even in top 10. They did, however come in at number 11, which out of 32 is just not that bad.
The Cost
The price of a dawg and a beer will run you about $17.98. Now, I have to say that in general $17.98 isn't that bad. I know I paid $15 for a beer at a concert over a decade ago (I know because it sticks in my craw). What's crazy to me is the most expensive place for this same snack/meal is the home of the Seattle Seahawks where the price hits 19.98.
It's Not Bad
I have to say that I'm not flinching at these prices. I'm sure there are premium items and premium or larger beers that cost a heck of a lot more, but it's good that there is a nice "entry price" for those who made it to the game but were low on dough.
