As ridiculous as that sounds, Judge KP George was booked into Fort Bend County Jail and faces a misdemeanor charge of "misrepresentation of identity of a candidate," according to ABC News.

It is alleged that in September of 2022, George used a Facebook account "Antonio Scalywag" to make hateful and racist comments about his ethnicity with the intent to influence his election against Trever Nehls.

Judge George won the election and in his recent statement says he is "disappointed in the charges" but that he believes that "justice will prevail" after all the facts are presented. He also stated that he has no intention of stepping down from his position.

Both the Constable and Commissioner of Fort Bend have called for Judge George's resignation.
