Authorities say the man, whose real name is Brian Johnson, drove to Austin with the intent of confronting Rogan, but instead ended up in police custody.

The arrest occurred following what police described as a series of escalating online threats, culminating in Johnson allegedly showing up in the city armed and agitated. Officials say that when Johnson was taken into custody, he was also allegedly in possession of narcotics, though the nature of those substances has not yet been publicly disclosed.
