Another restaurant that has been in Lubbock for awhile closes down.

The Lost Cajun combined authentic Cajun food and a down-home atmosphere with the best in Southern hospitality for a unique and delicious dining experience.

This spot opened back up here in Lubbock in 2018. It is a chain restaurant and has multiple locations across the states.

The Lost Cajun features southern-style home cooking from fried catfish, shrimp, and oysters to Louisiana Gumbo, Po-Boys and Beignets.

It was opened in a Milwaukee shopping center at 6810 Milwaukee Avenue. I am very shocked that it is now closed. The location does not show up on their website and Google also says it is closed.

I think I only went to this restaurant once but I never like seeing things close down especially when they have good reviews and people like them. All the pictures and reviews recently look good too.

I did try and call the restaurant and reach out to find out more details but the phones aren't being answered because I assume no one is there.

We don't know what day it officially closed down or why but you will not be able to eat there anymore.

You can find out more about the restaurant and its other locations on its website. The closest one to us now is in Amarillo.

Whether you call it capitalism or misfortune, it's a building that just seems to be cursed. One good example I can think of is this one at 3524 Avenue Q.
