Do you have a love for cars or windmills? Well, they might sound random but those two things are coming together for a fundraiser.

The Annual Corvette Car Show and Windmills will have around 50 corvettes with 200 windmill displays for the public to come to check out and see. The museum is a 66,000-square-foot facility.

The public will get a voting ballot to vote for their favorite car in the show. There will even be some prices, more things to do and food. Raffle tickets can be bought for $1 each or 6 for $5. The show will conclude at 4 pm with the raffle drawing and announcing the car show winners. Food trucks will be on-site for breakfast, lunch and sweets.

The hope for this event was the get the word out for more people to know about the Windmill Museum along with the Corvette club. The event is still going strong for its 6th year.

Plus if you have a corvette, they need you. Cars can register at 8 a.m. on the day of the event. The fee is $10.00 per car unless you are a member of the Caprock Corvette Club, then the entry fee is free.

The doors will open to the public at 9 a.m. Admission is $5 per person and children 5 and under are free. American Windmill Museum Members will also be admitted for free.

A portion of the proceeds will go to a charity of the Caprock Corvette Club's choosing. The event is Saturday, January 28th, 2023 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The American Windmill Museum is located at 1701 Canyon Lake Drive in Lubbock, Texas. You can find out more about them on their website.
