Have you ever heard of Hamilton Farms? It is such a fun place to check out for date night, family night out, or just a way to get outside.

Depending on the time of year they offer different things. For example, during Christmas, they offer to handpick your own fresh-cut tree, 12 Days of Christmas, letters to Santa, and more.

Their farm actually dates back to the 1970s but they just opened to the public four years ago. I got a chance to meet Kyla and her family when they opened they started all this up. They inherited it from their grandfather and took it from there. Now they want to share the love of their farm with the community.

During sunflower days they have fun things for the kids to do, you could look and cut fresh sunflowers, take pictures, see the animals, and have a lot of fun. The farm has over 28 acres of fresh sunflowers.

They also offer full hot concessions items, cotton candy, ice cream and cold drinks.

Hamilton Farms announced it will open its farm for the fourth annual Sunflower Days Maze on July 5th at 6 p.m.

Admission into the farm is $6 a person and children three and under are free.

2024 season dates will be announced at a later time.

Make sure you keep up with them so you don't miss out on all the farm has to offer year-round. You can find out more about them on their website or their location at 6830 FM 1729 Shallowater, TX 79363.
