It may feel like November 5th and Election Day is far away, but in reality, voting begins relatively soon. And that means a couple of different things. First, it means you will probably see a huge increase in the amount of ads in Texas for both the U.S. Senate race between Senator Ted Cruz and Congressman Colin Allred. And for the Presidential race between former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris.
When Does Early Voting Start in Texas?
Early voting in Texas starts in less than one month. Early Voting begins October 21 and runs through November 1. Election Day is Tuesday, November 5th. You can register to vote until October 7th.
Who All In Texas Is On The Ballot?
That depends on where you live. Of course the race for President and the race for U.S. Senate will be on your ballot. But depending on your ballot, you may have locally elected positions on the ballot. You may also have bond elections on the ballot.

How To Vote By Mail In Texas For the 2024 Election
In order to vote by mail in Texas. You must meet certain requirements. Contact your local county election office to find out if you are eligible to vote by mail. The deadline to apply for a mail in ballot is October 25. The ballot must be postmarked by November 5th unless you are voting overseas.
