Is the really something known as a healthy cheeseburger?
When it comes to fast food cheeseburgers, healthy may not be at the top of your mind when placing an order. And when you hear about a healthy cheeseburger, you may wonder if the burger is made out of turkey, mushrooms, or tofu. Fortunately, with this study that was done by Gambling.com, you have to worry if healthy means the burger doesn't taste like a burger.
According to this study with measured burgers in four categories, Whataburger and the Whataburger Cheeseburger is the healthiest of the top 10 fast food burgers.
The study found that Whataburger topped rival In-N-Out which came in 2nd place according to KAMC.

Whataburger has the US’s most healthy cheeseburger. The Whataburger With Cheese performs well in all four categories, without topping any.
Again, this doesn't mean that it's a healthy burger or will fit into your diet plans. According to KAMC, the Whataburger cheeseburger had the "second lowest fat and calorie contents per ounce". The burger also performed well in the "salt and sugar categories".
No word on if getting a double bacon cheeseburger ranks highly on the health study.
So the next time you pull up to a Whataburger, know that you are getting a burger that is well made and healthier than McDonald's or Wendy's. Oh and the Whataburger cheeseburger is going to be delicious as well.
