After one of the biggest weekends in Texas Tech basketball history that culminated in the Red Raiders beating the Kansas Jayhawks 91-62, Jarrett Culver has been named the Big 12 Player of the Week by the conference.

With Texas Tech not playing a mid-week matchup, they put all of their focus into beating a Kansas team that was the last team to beat the Red Raiders since their winning streak. Culver was a huge factor in that huge win over KU.

Culver finished with 26 points against the Jayhawks after going 10-for-21 from the field, including three 3-pointers in the win.

Culver has now won two Big 12 Player of the Week awards this season, and is averaging 18 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 3.7 assists per game.
