A Lubbock man was sentenced on Friday (June 1) to over 17 years in federal prison after pleading guilty to a conspiracy charge related to Fentanyl.

KAMC News reports 32-year-old Steven Lawrence Forcum accepted a plea deal for the charge in January 2018, and faced a maximum of 20 years.

Forcum was arrested in November 2017 after police discovered that he was getting Fentanyl shipped to him from China. Court records say Forcum admitted to selling over a kilo every two months.
