Person Attempts Murder-Suicide in Lubbock on New Year’s Day
Two people are in the hospital after what Lubbock police are describing as an attempted murder-suicide.
According to the Lubbock Police Department, officers responded to a shots fired call at 2:48 a.m. on Jan. 1, 2018. Upon arriving at 3224 110th Street, officers found one male and one female, both with gunshot wounds.
The two gunshot victims were brought to University Medical Center. Authorities have yet to release their identities or their statuses. However, Everything Lubbock is reporting that at least one of the gunshot victims suffered "serious injuries."
