Lubbock Police Investigate Body Found Near MLK Jr. Boulevard

On Monday, September 16th, Lubbock Police responded to the report of a body found in a field near Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Kent Street.

KAMC News reports the body was called in at around 9:15 a.m. It's the second body police have been called to investigate in less than a week.

On September 12th, Lubbock sanitation workers discovered a body, now identified to be 49-year-old Tracy Anne Powell, in an alley of the 2400 block of 24th Street.
