Lubbock Police SWAT Team Called Out to a Residence After Shots Fired

An over three-hour long standoff between the Lubbock Police SWAT team and a suspect in a shooting ended in an unusual fashion.
Just before 5p, police arrested 22 year-old Shea Partain after he fell through an attic ceiling into the first floor of a home in the 2300 block of 33rd Street.
LPD was originally called out to that location around 1:30 today after a report of shots fired inside of a home. KAMC News reports Partain allegedly threw a knife at the responding officers before the standoff began.
No injuries were reported as a result of the shooting and Partain was arrested on multiple charges, including Aggravated Assault against a Peace Officer.

Wednesday afternoon, around 1:30 p.m., Lubbock Police received a call of shots fired at a residence in the 2300 block of 33rd Street.
When police arrived on the scene, they were told a resident, who is a suspected in the shooting, was still inside the home. The SWAT team was called to the scene and the suspect refused to come outside.
As of 2:45 p.m., the SWAT team is still working the scene, and no injuries have been reported.
