Rollover in East Lubbock Kills One and Injures Another

A rollover crash on Saturday, December 11th, in East Lubbock left one person dead and another with injuries.
Lubbock Police report the crash occurred at around 4:30 a.m. in the 3400 block of Parkway Drive.
When officers arrived, the driver, 24 year-old Alex Pancardo Jr., was transported to University Medical Center where he later died. The passenger, 26 year-old Jose Rubalcava Jr., suffered moderate injuries and was also taken to UMC.
Authorities say a Pontiac Grand Am was driving northeast on Parkway Drive and at one point left the roadway. Pancardo Jr. lost control of the vehicle and it rolled.
