Lew was always very proud of the success of his 'Saturday Night Theater'. Here's Lew with his entire cast of characters telling future clients how great his show is and that they should advertise with him.
I was talking about my friend and mentor Lew Dee yesterday morning. Well, I got a Facebook friend request from a guy named Bill and he sent me a link to some audio of a friend of his calling-in to 98kool and playing a song he wrote for Lew. This is CLASSIC Lubbock radio! Hear the song on the next page!
Special thanks to KCBD's Alex Butler and John Berry for speaking with myself and a few of my co-workers and friends who knew Lew. See the story on the next page.
The longtime Lubbock radio team known as “Lew Dee & Diana” will receive Lubbock Advertising Federation’s highest honor June 28 at the organization’s annual Silver Medal Award dinner.
