The Texas Rangers retired Globe Life Park this past season and will open 2020 in the brand new Globe Life Field. It's so brand new that's not even done yet. That didn't stop some of the current Texas Rangers from getting some batting practice in at the new stomping grounds.

Joey Gallo doesn't need outfield turf to mash taters.

Willie Calhoun was aiming for the construction equipment still on the premises.

They even got a good game of catch in.

The Texas Rangers open Globe Life Field on March 31st, 2020 against the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim and will hopefully have some new faces around to debut their new ballpark. The Rangers have been linked to Anthony Rendon most heavily who would man the hot corner for the team coming off a World Series title in Washington last season.
