As the world works to innovate ways to continue working while combating COVID-19 many companies have opted to move employees to work from home. That doesn't always mean that the option to work from home is one that is easily executed by certain companies or even in certain areas, where connectivity and logistical challenges make working from home a near impossibility.

The personal-finance website WalletHub recently released a study to "identify which states are most conducive to working from home."

WalletHub says that they used data to "compared the 50 states and the District of Columbia across 12 key metrics. The data set ranges from the share of workers working from home before COVID-19 to internet cost and cybersecurity."

The study also indicated that other factors were considered such as, "factors like how large and how crowded homes are in the state. Together, these metrics show how feasible working from home is in terms of cost, comfort and safety."
