The Lady Raiders Coast Through Non-Conference Play Undefeated
The Lady Raiders have dominated the teams on the schedule so far this season and will finish the 2019 portion of the schedule undefeated, a perfect 11-0, after beating UTSA 115-58.
The Lady Raiders shot above 60 percent from the field and 50 percent on the dot from beyond the arc. It was Lexi Gordon that led the way in the win, dropping a double-double with 31 points and 11 rebounds. It was Gordon's first career double-double as a Lady Raider.
The 115 points were the most the Lady Raiders scored since dropping 125 points on Central State some 39 years ago.
The Lady Raiders will face their toughest test yet this season this Friday when the Iowa State Cyclones come to Lubbock. The Lady Raiders are 10-0 this season in the United Supermarkets Arena, and will look to give Iowa State their 4th loss of the season on Friday.
