On Tuesday evening, the Texas Tech baseball team took on New Mexico in a midweek matchup at Dan Law Field at Rip Griffin Park. The Red Raiders would come away with a 4-2 victory over New Mexico, moving to 26-13 on the season.

One big milestone was hit Tuesday night, with Texas Tech Head Coach Tim Tadlock earning his 700th career win as a head coach.

The win was his 265th as head coach of the Red Raiders; Tadlock won the majority of his games when he was head coach at Grayson College.

Next on the calendar for the Red Raiders is a huge match-up, hosting the current Big 12-leading no.18 Oklahoma State Cowboys (25-13, 10-5) for a three-game series. The Red Raiders are currently just two games behind the Cowboys for first place in the Big 12.
