After Texas Tech's Saturday's win over no. 2 West Virginia, fans in Lubbock rushed the court. During the court storming, there was an altercation between some Texas Tech fans and the players of West Virginia. If you missed the incident in question, there were a couple angles on Twitter:

The players in question from West Virginia are #21 Wesley Harris and #50 Sagaba Konate.

According to the Associated Press, West Virginia officials are now looking into the incident.

"We have been in contact with the Big 12 Conference and Texas Tech and are gathering information regarding yesterday's court storming in Lubbock," West Virginia's athletic department said in a statement to the AP.

Back in 2015, the Big 12 gave commissioner Bob Bowlsby the authority to fine schools for allowing fans on the court after games. For the storming, Texas Tech potentially faces a $50,000 fine.

This also isn't the first time a West Virginia college sports team was involved in trouble at a Texas Tech game. In 2017 before Texas Tech football played West Virginia, players from both teams were involved in a dustup on the field before the game started.
