28 People Arrested in Lubbock on September 15th, Four With the Same Last Name
It's finally Friday after what feels like a short week. I do think my brain is ready for the official start of fall, so maybe that's why this week felt so short, along with the cool air that has started to trickle in.
There has also been an influx of people smelling like pumpkin pie and I'm happy about that because it means we're closer to Halloween and Dia de los Muertos. Dia de los Muertos is a family holiday celebrated in Mexico, but unfortunately no one told that to four of the people arrested yesterday. I don't know for a fact if they're all related, but they do all have the same last name. Maybe they're long-lost cousins? At least they have each other while at the Lubbock County Detention Center.
Since I did mention pumpkin pie, I suggest getting a pumpkin spice latte from anywhere that has them and a pumpkin empanada at any of the local panaderias (Mexican bakery) in town. I definitely feel like pumpkins are a huge staple this year compared to previous years, so why not go all out today on this Friday while you get ready to scroll through the Lubbock lunchtime lineup.
I do recommend everyone to keep an eye out for Friday's mugshots tomorrow before you head on over to the Cactus Theater for their free screening of the Texas Tech vs. North Carolina State game at 6 p.m.. Also, don't do anything this weekend to end up in the Mugshot Monday lineup.
That's enough parenting. Let's get to scrolling for familiar faces.
These 28 mugshots are of people who were arrested on Thursday, September 15th, 2022 and held in the Lubbock County Detention Center. All people featured are innocent until proven guilty and have only been charged with a crime.
