A woman named Sally Duval is running for Congress in Texas as a Democrat, pushing to legalize marijuana. And it's heavily featured in her new campaign ad. It starts with her smoking a joint, and ends with her taking bong rips.

But, speaking of her politics, I went to her website to see her platform

I’m running so that Texans have a choice this November.
I’m focused on solving the real problems faced by Texans today. I believe in finding common ground with my neighbors rather than fixating on our differences. We Texans treasure our independence, but our elected leaders are determined to extend the long arm of the government even further into our private lives.

I’m running to be the next State Representative for District 73 in the Texas House because my Hill Country neighbors in Comal and western Hays counties deserve to have a choice this November.

What kind of Texas will we leave for our grandchildren? It’s for y’all to decide.

That appears to be typical political mumbo jumbo. The 'meat' of her political stance is below that...

Restore women’s reproductive rights

Increase funding for public schools

Stop the Private School Voucher

Extend Medicaid coverage

Raise the minimum wage

Address climate change

Make college affordable

Legalize marijuana

Reduce gun violence

Conserve our natural resources

Treat everyone with dignity

Most Remaining Fuddruckers Are In Texas, Here's Were To Find Them

Fuddruckers began in San Antonio in 1979. At its height in the late 90s, there were 150 Fuddruckers locations. Now only 54 remain, with 6 of those in the dubious state of "temporarily" closed.
