A World War Two Bomb Was Found Under a Building in Munich and Authorities Blew It Up
Authorities in Germany had to evacuate about 2,500 people from a neighborhood in Munich on Tuesday after they discovered a LIVE WORLD WAR TWO BOMB buried under a bar that was being demolished.
The bomb weighed 550 POUNDS, and they decided that trying to defuse it was too dangerous, so they BLEW IT UP instead. No one was hurt, but it caused millions of dollars in damage.
There's video of the explosion below. They did it at night, so it's pretty cool footage.
It explodes at :26, and again at 1:17 from a different angle:
In case you're wondering, it was a U.S. Air Force bomb that had a "chemical delayed-action detonator."
