Texas Ranger Adrian Beltre had his 3,000th hit recently joining a very exclusive club in the world of baseball. In honor of him the Fort Worth Zoo named one of their new baby giraffes after Adrian. Meet Beltre.

Beltre also has a brother named Buddy, although I foresee Buddy having self esteem issues as a teenager. I mean your brother is named after a sports super star and you're just his Buddy? Come on Fort Worth Zoo, you kind of screwed him on this one.

Anyway here's the new addition in all his giraffe-itude.
