Bing Crosby’s ‘White Christmas’ Named Favorite Christmas Song — Survey of the Day
There is no escaping Christmas songs this time of year, even if one wanted to, so most people have an opinion as to which of these yuletide tunes they like best.
A Harris Poll recently asked 2,499 adults what’s their favorite Christmas song and found the Irving Berlin/Bing Crosby classic ‘White Christmas’ topped the last. ‘Silent Night’ took the second spot, followed by ‘Oh Holy Night,’ ‘Jingle Bells’ and ‘Little Drummer Boy.’
‘The Christmas Song,’ ‘Winter Wonderland,’ ‘Grandma Got Run Over By a Rainbow,’ ‘Coral of the Bells’ and ‘Silver Bells’ rounded out the top 10.
This result represented somewhat of an upset. The previous three years Harris had asked the question it was ‘Silent Night’ in first place, with ‘White Christmas’ taking second.
