Bob Seger has confirmed the 24-date Runaway Train tour, though he didn't clarify the meaning of a promo video for these dates that seemed to indicate plans to retire.

Seger and his Silver Bullet band begin these North American shows at Toledo, Ohio, on Aug. 24, and continue through an October stop at Phoenix. More dates are planned, including concerts in Los Angeles, Chicago, Seattle and other cities, according to Rolling Stone. Select dates will include Nancy Wilson of Heart as a special guest.

This tour was teased earlier this week with a clip that included the tag line "One last time," leading to speculation that Seger might be calling it quits. The video included music from his 1973 favorite "Turn the Page," another possible clue.

A complete list of announced dates, venues and cities is attached below. Seger will make at least two stops around his Michigan hometown – a Sept. 9 show at DTE Energy Music Theatre in Clarkston, which has already sold out; and a Sept. 23 stop at the Palace of Auburn Hills. Tickets will be available through BobSeger.com and Live Nation.

The announcement of these dates coincides with a pair of vinyl reissues, 1994's double-disc Greatest Hits and his 1969 major-label debut Ramblin' Gramblin' Man. Both are due on Friday.
