The Lubbock Delegation of lawmakers have spoken, and they are backing Carl Tepper for Texas House District 84.

As the race in the Republican primary for Texas House District 84 heats up, Carl Tepper has received a welcomed endorsement. On Tuesday, State Representative Dustin Burrows officially endorsed Tepper in the race to fill the seat being vacated by Representative John Frullo.

The endorsement from Burrows means that Carl Tepper has the support of the Lubbock County delegation of State Senator Charles Perry and Representative Burrows. In his endorsement of Tepper, Burrows said that Tepper would champion "conservative values" and that Tepper can be trusted to help secure the border, protect life and fight for Texas Tech.

"I have known Carl Tepper for years and have seen first-hand his dedication to championing our conservative values," said Burrows. "We can trust Carl will fight to secure the border, protect unborn life, and be a strong advocate for Texas Tech."

"Representative Burrows has done an outstanding job representing our region in Austin," said Tepper. "I look forward to working together with him as we fight back against Biden's job killing regulations for the betterment of West Texas."

With early voting beginning on February 14, the endorsement from Burrows comes at a time when many voters are beginning to make up their minds about the different candidates running for Texas House District 84.

Carl Tepper will appear on the Wednesday edition of The Chad Hasty Show with Matt Martin at 10:05am.

Early voting for the March 1st primary begins on Monday, February 14.
