Car Crashes Through Fence at Monterey High School

Lubbock Police responded to reports of a car crashing through a fence at Monterey High School just before 10 a.m. on Monday, September 23rd.

Lubbock ISD says that a student in the near parking lot accidentally pushed the accelerator and ran into the fence.

No students were on the field at the time of the accident and damage was only done to the outer fence.

According to KAMC News, 2 people suffered minor injuries. EMS did not transport anyone to a hospital.
