September 23rd the Children's Home Of Lubbock is holding their annual fall festival. Hopefully by then it won't still be 90 degrees outside. Stupid summer never ends sometimes.

The Children's Home Of Lubbock will usher in fall with a fun fall festival that's free for the whole family. From 10 am to 2:30 pm at the Children's Home there will be live music by Lone Prairie, a silent auction, inflatable games, a hay ride, and our big parade featuring all of our kiddos and the Roosevelt Eagle Marching Band. J&M BBQ will host a lunch from 11-2 with tickets for adults at $12 and kids for $6. Plus the official groundbreaking for the new Lynn and Janie Harms Pavilion will happen on the 23rd too.

I'm a parent of adopted kids through the Children's Home and I know firsthand the great work they do. Unfortunately the number of kids staying at the home is always going up, and the need for more help never stops. So come out and celebrate fall and see all the wonderful kids the Children's Home helps. Maybe you could help too.
