What Happened to Conrado Sarate?

An elderly man was found dead inside his Lubbock, Texas home under suspicious circumstances. Now, police are asking for the public's help.

The body of 79-year-old Conrado Sarate was discovered inside his Ave. P home on Tuesday, September 6, 2016.

Lubbock police officers found Sarate's body after responding to a 'check welfare' call from a neighbor who said they hadn't seen the man lately. Due to the nature of the discovery, officers put a homicide call-out. Sarate's death has officially been ruled a murder.

Anyone with information about Sarate's death or whereabouts on September 4-6 is being asked to call the Crime Line at 741-1000. According to a post on the Lubbock Police Department Facebook page, a $2,500 reward is being offered for information.
