Cover Clash: The Temptations Vs. Faces – “(I Know) I’m Losing You” [VIDEO]
This edition of Cover Clash pits one of the biggest bands from Motown against one of the most influential bands from across the pond. It's the Temptations vs. Faces battling it out in this week's Cover Clash with "(I Know) I'm Losing You."
The Temptations reached #1 with "(I Know) I'm Losing You" in 1966. They went on perform the song live with Diana Ross in 1967. The song has been covered by a handful of big name musicians including The Jackson 5, Rare Earth and, of course, Rod Stewart and Faces.
Faces recorded the song in 1970 but the song was released on the 1971 Rod Stewart's album Every Picture Tells A Story. It was released on Stewart's first solo record as they were contractually obligated from using the name Faces.
It's The Temptations vs. the Faces in Cover Clash. Check out both versions below and sound off on whose version you liked better.
