In the early morning hours of Thursday, April 14th, 1 person was killed and 3 others were injured following a 2-vehicle collision.

Lubbock Police say the crash happened a bit after 3:30 a.m. at the intersection of 19th Street and Milwaukee Avenue.

It's said that an SUV, driven by 18-year-old Ebony Constancio, was heading eastbound in the 6500 block of 19th Street. At the same time, an SUV, driven by 39-year-old Russell Floyd, was traveling south in the 1800 block of Milwaukee. The 2 vehicles collided in the intersection and traveled a short distance before coming to a rest.

Floyd was pronounced dead at the scene, but Constancio and an unnamed 16-year-old passenger were transported to University Medical Center with serious injuries. The other passenger in the SUV, 23-year-old Adrian Reyes, was transported to UMC with moderate injuries.

Whether or not this collision was caused by either of the drivers running a red light has yet to be determined as police are still investigating the incident.
