We really made it, guys!

I came across the TikTok account for the show COPS, something I had no idea existed and have never even thought about searching for. Lo and behold, there we are: two videos of Lubbock suspects featured on the account. Excellent.

You may have seen these episodes on TV when they aired, but please take a moment to relive them with me. Here's our first specimen. He just can't seem to stop arguing with the police and makes almost zero effort to cooperate with the cool-minded cop. Instead, he just rattles on and on and digs the hole a little deeper for himself.

The second one that features a Lubbock suspect appears to be a guy laid out on the ground being questioned as to whether or not the car he is driving belongs to him. He claims that someone just gave him the keys to the car and that it doesn't belong to him. Who knows what really happened, but if there is someone out there in town handing out free cars, then please, look me up. I desperately need a new one.

The moral of the story is that out of 102 videos posted, Lubbock made it on there twice. Good job, guys! We couldn't have done it without you.

It's nice to know we're famous for something other than dope-ass BBQ, Texas Tech University and Buddy Holly. Keep up the good work, and maybe we can get even more TikTok famous.
