‘Drift Away’ Singer Dobie Gray Is Dead

Dobie Gray, who had a huge hit in 1973 with 'Drift Away', passed away yesterday. He was 71. There's no word on a cause of death.

He was basically a one-hit wonder, but you may also remember his 1965 song 'The 'In' Crowd' and he recorded a new version of "Drift Away" with Uncle Kracker in 2003.
