You Only Have the Next 5 Days to Fly in a Historic WWII Bomber When ‘Fifi’ Visits Lubbock
Maybe you didn't even know this could be on your bucket list, but young or old it's definitely a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
The Commemorative Airforce Air Power History Tour is bringing their iconic Boeing B-29 Superfortress FIFI to Lubbock for 5 days only. It's the only plane of its kind that's still flying.
You can bring the whole family to take an affordable tour or a ride 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. from Wednesday, Oct. 12 through Sunday, Oct. 16.
A ride on FIFI is expensive, costing from $570-$1,495, however it gives you an incredible opportunity to relive history and honor those who have sacrificed for our freedom. But an on-the-ground cockpit tour is also available, costing $5 for children 11-17 and $10 for adults. Kids 10 and under are free.
