A Florida man admitted to selling mislabeled prescription drugs to an undercover Lubbock Drug Enforcement Administration agent.

Authorities learned of a drug trafficker out of Palm Beach, Florida, identified as Albert Richard Boozer. An agent contacted Boozer in late 2019 and attempted to purchase pills. An agreement was reached and $800 was paid for 200 Adderall pills.

EverythingLubbock reports two separate packages were received by authorities in February 2020. One of the packages contained a dietary supplement bottle, which held 192 tablets of Tramadol. The other package was a bubble-wrap envelope containing 101 tablets, 97 of which were Tramadol.

Boozer used the website stamps.com with the alias "Ryan Smith" to send the contraband. That's how authorities were able to identify Boozer.

A search warrant was granted to search Boozer's emails and they found emails detailing reshipping of prescription drugs for an India-based company. During a search at Boozer's residence, several dietary supplement bottles were found with other substances inside.

The admission was part of a guilty plea agreement. As of this time, the judge has not accepted or denied the plea.
