Former Lubbock Resident Shot and Killed in Bartlett, Texas
A former Lubbock resident has been identified as the victim of a deadly shooting in Bartlett, Texas, located just northeast of Austin.
KAMC News reports that the shooting occurred on Friday just before 4 p.m. at a residence in Bartlett at 624 W Jackson Street. The circumstances of the shooting remain unclear.
Twenty-two-year-old Stormie Devon Callison, who reportedly worked at Cujo’s Sports Bar & Grill in Lubbock just six months ago, has been identified as the victim in the shooting.
A 32-year-old man named Archie Samuel Rogers was apprehended by the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office roughly 24 hours after the shooting occurred at 5:21 a.m. on Saturday, February 2nd.
Police say they have yet to establish exactly how Rogers and Callison may have known each other. The address on Rogers’ license did match the address where Callison’s body was found.
Rogers has been charged with murder and was last reported to be held on a $500,000 bond.
The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office assisted the Bartlett Police Department in Rogers’ arrest, as did their Criminal Investigations Division and a Crime Scene Unit.
