Fox Will Broadcast a Three-Hour Live Version of “Grease”
You know how NBC aired that live "Sound of Music" thing with Carrie Underwood last year? Well, Fox is gearing up to do something similar with "Grease", which they've given the creative title "Grease Live".
There's no word on any casting yet. In fact, all we know at this point is that the production will be three hours long, and it'll air sometime NEXT year. (Can we PLEASE not have Carrie Underwood as Sandy?)
Of course, NBC is doing another live musical, too. The network previously announced that they're doing "Peter Pan" on December 4th.
