Frenship’s ‘Cinderella’ Stars Win Big at the Dallas High School Musical Awards [Pictures]
Frenship High School did an amazing version of Rogers + Hammerstein's Cinderella in December. It was such an amazing performance that the two leads in the performance, Noah Aguilar and Sierra Roberson, won best actor and actress respectively, and much more.
At the 7th annual Dallas High School Musical Awards, Noah and Sierra beat out all the other Texas and Oklahoma competition to take home the top honors for their category, along with a $10,000 award each and a trip to New York City for the annual nationwide Jimmy Awards.
This is a huge deal for them and Frenship High School. The performance of Cinderella was nominated in a number of other categories as well. The entire Frenship Theater Department is elated and celebrating Noah and Sierra's wins, and we should celebrate with them.
So the next time you hear about an Frenship High School theater performance, I would recommend seeing it. You never know if you'll be watching the next Broadway, or even Hollywood, star rising out of one of our own high school performances.
