From Lubbock to Houston, we’re proving once again that everything’s bigger—and cheerier—in the Lone Star State!

At the top of the list? Utah claimed the crown as the most Christmassy state, followed by Massachusetts, Virginia, Illinois, and Washington. Texas isn’t far behind, and I, for one, am already thinking about climbing that list next year.

That’s right—while Texans are Googling recipes for tamales and searching for the best Christmas light displays, Alaskans are apparently shivering through the holiday season.
