Brace Yourself, ‘Fuller House’ Season 2 Might Not Wait Until 2017
Blow through Fuller House Season 1 in the span of a day, and need a new fix? You got it, dude. The short turnaround of sitcom production makes it relatively easier for shows like Fuller House to crank out new episodes, and according to John Stamos, Season 2 is coming “a lot sooner than we released last year’s.”
E! News caught up with John Stamos for a bit of Fuller House Season 2 intel, and given the first season’s late February premiere and quick renewal, it stands to reason that the additional order wouldn’t require so much preparation as to push Season 2 to a similar window in 2017. In fact:
They renewed [it] within, like, a day. They actually sort of put a rush on it. I don’t think they’ve announced the dates, but they’re going to be a lot sooner than we released last year’s … Last year we had a very fast prep time to get the scripts and stories done. This year we got ahead of it and I think, out of the 13 I feel like there’s already like 10 scripts done. The writers are really working hard over there and they’re great.
Of course, Stamos couldn’t confirm the holy grail of Fuller House Season 2 additions (this is a real phrase I just typed), specifically whether an Olsen twin will show up to address all that bizarre shade from the first run, but never lose hope, you beautifully weird Fuller House fanatics.
Season 2 is coming, and no nostalgia is safe.
