See 100+ Pictures of the Pets Who Showed Up at the Furry 500 II

Hundreds of pet owners came out Saturday to help fight bordetellla, parvo and distemper, plus get free microchips, at the second Furry 500 in Lubbock, Texas.

While our first-ever Furry 500 back in June took place on a sweltering day, the sequel saw one of the coolest days of the year so far. It was the perfect way to officially kick off the fall at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center.

Dogs of all colors, sizes and breeds were vaccinated and microchipped by our awesome volunteers from the Lubbock Animal Shelter. We even saw a few cats and kittens. Meanwhile, MetroPCS and Three Dog Bakery Lubbock chatted with pet owners.
