Students Begin Camping Out at Jones AT&T Stadium

With ESPN’s College Gameday returning to Lubbock, the atmosphere around Jones AT&T Stadium is already electric. Students have started pitching tents, setting up camp chairs, and claiming their spots early in hopes of snagging the best seats—or front-row views of the Gameday set.

The dedication is peak Texas Tech energy. Some students showed up the moment word got out that College Gameday was heading to town. The sidewalks and grassy areas near the stadium are quickly turning into a mini city of loyal fans—complete with snacks, music, beer kegs, flags, video games, and Red Raider pride!

As one student said:

If I have to miss a few nights of sleep to see Tech beat BYU, it’s worth it.

That pretty much sums up the vibe right now: passionate, restless, and tired, but fired up.

Gameday Fever Takes Over Lubbock

The anticipation is building fast. Lubbock’s already buzzing with speculation, selfies, and signs. And as the week rolls on, the campout crowd will only grow.
