Krispy Kreme is celebrating with a special promotion. Customers that buy a dozen doughnuts (or a 16-pack of minis) can get 12 original glazed doughnuts for just 13 cents. But it's TODAY only.

To access the buy-one-get-one deal, you have to use the promo code "13" when ordering in-store or online via the app or website. You can also only get one 13-cent dozen...don't be greedy!

Signature recipe
Krispy Kreme's decades-old recipe is kept in a safe, and the company says the combination of their mix and equipment is what makes their doughnuts so good.
Dry mix
The same dry mix is used at every location, and it's produced by one plant in North Carolina.
In-house mixing
The proprietary blend is mixed in-house at each store.
Air-pressurized extruder
The dough is fed into a proprietary air-pressurized extruder that produces the doughnuts.
Freshness
Krispy Kreme doughnuts are made fresh and should be treated like a cake or pastry.
Glaze
The doughnuts are glazed with a mixture of sugar, milk, and other ingredients.
Cooling
The doughnuts are cooled for about 40 minutes before being packed and delivered.

I like to get the Wendy's fries and dip them in the chocolate frosty...because I'm an aristocrat! If you haven't tried it, you should! It's the PERFECT mix of savory, salty and sweet. It'll also give you diabetes, but, that's tomorrow's problem!
