Get Ready to Blast off Next Weekend!

Are you looking for something different to do? Well, this is different and fun! The City of Lubbock and the Silent Wings museum will be hosting a model rocket workshop Saturday, January 28^th and Saturday, February 4^th.

From the City of Lubbock:

“Join us on Saturday, January 28th and Saturday, February 4th from 10am-12pm for our two-part Model Rocket Workshop! On January 28, participants will build their own model rockets at the Silent Wings Museum. Cut, sand, paint and decorate your rocket to reflect your individual style, then attach the parachute to your out-of-this-world creation. On February 4, participants will experience the thrill of launching their handmade rockets into the sky! “
